Adblock Plus prevents many advertisements from appearing on web pages you view with Google Chrome. Adblock Plus drastically reduces the number of annoying and invasive ads you see. This makes browsing the web less taxing on both your computer and your sanity.
The included filter list, EasyList, is continuously updated by the community and Adblock Plus uses the latest version. You can simply install the extension and forget about it since it handles most of the ads silently.
This Google Chrome extension attempts to block ads on websites. It includes the EasyList filter list.
Note: In order to install the extension you need to drag and drop the downloaded file in the Extensions tab.
