GLMixer is a software application that performs in real time the graphical blending of several movie clips; it is a hybrid between image processing and video editing, but with a logic close to audio mixing. Typically, you load a set of video samples, and decide on the fly how much they should be visible, arrange the images in the screen, and which effects you apply to them.
The output of your operations is shown in the main rendering window, which will be displayed full-screen on an external monitor or a projector, or can be saved as a video file (avi, mpg, flv, wmv, etc.).
GLMixer can handle a lot of videos simultaneously, allowing you to have all your video material 'under the shoulder' and to quickly mix them as you want. The power of the graphic card is exploited to do real time filtering and deformation of videos allowing to guarantee a fixed frame rate.
The sound in the video sources is ignored, because mixing audio and graphics have too different criteria and requirements.
