OmniGlyph is a software application that contains display engines for text, ASCII, binary, and pixel image files. It coordinates data file sharing and privacy between multiple instances of children windows which provides a connected set of data files for a pair (or more) of text editors while providing a separate set of files for a CIRCAD window. Any combination of shared or private files between any combination if children is possible.



While CIRCAD is a large portion of the OmniGlyph package, it is OmniGlyph's rich internal data structure that lets CIRCAD and Holopad share files and have inter-process communication. Modifications of a given data file in one editor will dynamically update the data in other shared window. It is interesting to consider that CIRCAD is written by hardware design engineers for engineering, while Holopad is written by software programmers for programming.
