PTC-2A is a practical solution for those who are looking for a replica of the unique output from the Pultec EQP-1A equalizer.
Using this audio plugin you can separate LF Boost and Attenuate controls and get the Pultec sound by either using one of its four existing presets or fine tuning the boost, atten, frequency and bandwidth knobs. Analogue Filter Modelling algorithms recreate natural analogue filter curves, without requiring high sample rates or CPU intensive upsampling, allowing more plugin instances in a typical DAW.
