Redis is an easy to configure data structure server that works with an in-memory dataset in order to help you run several operations, such as increasing the value of a a hash field, append a value to a key, perform bitwise operations between strings and more.
The stored keys include lists, hashes, strings and sets. The dataset can be saved to disk, you can post messages on the server channels and inspect the internals of Redis objects.
