RockViewer is a reliable system for organization of photomicrographs and support for petrographic identification and characterization.
It allows you to build your own catalog, being a handy tool for systematic cataloging and annotation of petrographic images.
With a set of 200 annotated photomicrographs of siliciclastic thin-sections included, it offers very efficient search for specific features into annotated images, navigation among the annotated images with the search terms highlighted and more.
