Terra Incognita is a small software application built specifically for helping you view maps from various online sources, such as Google, OpenStreetMap, Bing, and other similar services.
You can copy it on any USB flash drive or other devices, and take it with you whenever you need to view and grab maps from the Internet on the fly, without having to go through installation steps.
Terra Incognita sports a clean and intuitive layout that allows you to set up the dedicated parameters with minimum effort. It offers you the possibility to select the online source from where the utility grabs the maps, preview the image directly in the main panel, and save the current map to PRJ, KAP, MCX, JNX, KMZ, MAP, or SAT file format.
You can also upload waypoint, track, and route data from GPX, NMEA, LOC, WPT, PLT, KML, and KMZ files, zoom in or out, and copy the current coordinates to the clipboard for pasting them into other third-party utilities.
Terra Incognita lets you pick the area from the map that you want to save, and you can switch between a rectangle and polygon selection mode, and enter the latitude and longitude coordinates.
